When you come back home just to be sent out again.
Around Thanksgiving, one of my World Race squads came home from being on the mission field for 11 months!
At the beginning of January, we invited them back down to Gainesville, GA for an event we call Project Searchlight. It’s designed to help them process their re-entry back into the States, explore next steps, and simply reunite with the people they travelled with for the last year.
While they are at Project Searchlight, they are split into groups. Each group has a coach to help facilitate discussion and speak into their lives. I had the privilege of being a coach for one of these groups. Here is a picture of my group!
What’s particulary cool about them? They are all going back onto the mission field!
Sylvia and Quinn are both co-leading a World Race Squad. They will be out for five months. They actually left last week! Neither one of them are fully funded for this trip. If you’d like to donate, you can do so at quinndiaz.theworldrace.org and sylviabarrett.theworldrace.org.

Allison and Allie are leaving on Monday to lead one of our Passport Trips which are two to four months trips for college-aged people. Allison is heading to Thailand and Cambodia with her Team! Allie is heading to Nepal and India with hers! Allie is fully funded for this trip (Praise the Lord!) Allison is not but will be! I’m so proud of all of these people for stepping out in faith into the next plans God set before them! Please follow their journeys. You won’t regret it!
Also, as a staff member of Adventures In Missions, it is my responsibility to form of ministry partners will support Adventures financially. As of right now, about 67% of the support I need to raise has been committed! That means only about $200 per month is needed for my team to be complete!
